World Recycling Day: our commitment to the recycling process 18 March 2024

World Recycling Day, celebrated annually on March 18th, reminds us of the importance of taking action to protect the environment. At Polwax, we are committed to the recycling process and promoting environmentally friendly practices among our employees.

Packaging minimization and selective waste collection

In order to reduce the amount of waste generated, Polwax S.A. takes actions aimed at minimizing the use of individual and transportation packaging. Additionally, we conduct selective waste collection on our premises, including cardboard, plastic film, plastics, and glass. Through proper segregation of materials, we enable their further utilization in the recycling process, supporting the idea of sustainable development.

Conscious consumption in everyday life

Furthermore, we believe in the significance of conscious consumption in everyday life. We encourage reducing the quantity of purchased products and opting for those characterized by durability and reusability. In this way, together we can reduce the amount of waste generated, positively impacting the state of our environment.

The 3Rs principle

We encourage everyone to practice the 3Rs principle: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Let’s reduce the amount of waste produced through conscious shopping and minimizing unnecessary packaging. Let’s reuse products whenever possible, and when they become waste, let’s remember to segregate them properly so that the materials they contain can be reused.
