Polwax is halfway through the implementation of contracts for recipients from the gravelights market. The company not only produces finished products, but also supplies a wide range of smaller producers in the country with raw materials and semi-finished products. Our advantage is such a combination of appropriate adsorbents with specific additives in the refining process that the paraffin masses offered are characterized by very good color and stability of parameters.

Gravelights production defies market analytics and no one really knows how much this market is worth in Poland. In 2017 and 2018, there was a lot of information in the press that the entire Polish gravelight market could be worth as much as a billion zlotys. Demand is virtually 100% satisfied by Polish companies. As “Rzeczpospolita” wrote last year, “Poles are practically monopolists here, there is no gravelight import into our country, it is us who send goods across Europe.”

According to last year’s data of the Polish Association of Candle and Candle Manufacturers (OSPZiŚ), Poles buy at least 300 million of gravelights every year. A large part of them will be based on raw materials and semi-finished products from Polwax.
