Polwax joins the Łukasiewicz Index. 06 April 2021

The Index was created last December, having in mind the most innovative companies on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE), which are engaged in research and development. The first Index listings on the WSE are scheduled for 1 April.

– The fact that the level of innovation directly affects its market success and attracts investors’ attention is not new. By launching, together with the Warsaw Stock Exchange, the establishment of an index of the most innovative companies in Warsaw, we want to recognise and highlight their commitment to research and development and encourage other companies to develop their own potential based on the knowledge and expertise of Łukasiewicz’s researchers, Poland’s largest supplier of innovative R&D solutions. We want to reach the point where any company, when thinking of modernising its business and increasing shareholder value, has a natural reflex to challenge Łukasiewicz. I am pleased that we can pursue this ambitious objective together with the institution, which is invaluable in promoting innovation among Polish companies – Piotr Dardziński, President of the Łukasiewicz Research Network [1], justifies the initiative to establish a new stock exchange index.
