Paraffin emulsion – market with perspective 01 August 2022
Wood is an important raw material for the Polish economy. Every year, about 40 million m3 of wood is supplied to the Polish market, including about 35 million m3 of utility wood. The wood industry cannot dispense with paraffin emulsions, which are used as the most important means of protecting (impregnating) wood and wood-based materials against the damaging effects of moisture.
Polwax, one of the leaders in the domestic market of paraffin emulsions for the wood industry, offers nine versions of emulsions based on waxes with different oil content and different pour points. Each of them can be produced with standardized dry matter contents of 50%, 60% or 70%, depending on the desired emulsion viscosity and the amount of water.
