NEW POLWAX PRODUCTS FOR HORTICULTURE – Effective plant protection during transport and storage
In response to growing market needs, Polwax introduces a new generation of protective plant waxes. These products are made using different, more advanced raw materials, while their function and effectiveness remain consistent with previous standards – and in some aspects have even been improved.
KLORISWAX – gentle protection at lower temperatures
Alternative to: Florowax
MAIN DIFFERENCE: lower solidification temperature
Why is this important?
• Kloriswax forms a thin, flexible coating on the plant surface, reducing evaporation.
• The lower solidification temperature makes the product milder for plants particularly sensitive to elevated temperatures.
• Easier application and a stable protective layer, even for delicate plants.
Benefit for the user: greater plant safety during dipping and improved protection of sensitive species.
FLOROWAX HT – classic decorative coating with different thermal characteristics
Alternative to: Florowax H
MAIN DIFFERENCE: higher resistance to structural changes caused by heat
Why is this important?
• Florowax HT provides the same aesthetic coating as previously known products.
• However, it demonstrates greater resistance to structural changes under very high temperatures.
Benefit for the user: preserved function and appearance under non-standard usage and transport conditions — the user should still exercise caution when coating more sensitive plants.
WHAT DO BOTH PRODUCTS HAVE IN COMMON?
• Reduced water loss
• Lower risk of wilting during transport and storage
• Improved appearance of plants intended for sale
• Safe application and compliance with horticultural practices
NEW GENERATION – SAME APPLICATIONS, GREATER FUNCTIONALITY
Our new products are manufactured using raw materials with better market availability, and their parameters have been selected to maintain the full functionality of previous solutions. Additionally, improvements were achieved that increase plant safety and coating stability in challenging conditions.
